Terrific at TWO! 12.3.2008

Well...Sterling’s 2nd Birthday has come and gone, but not that fast!  When your birthday falls during a holiday I suppose you get a birthday WEEK, or at least that’s what Sterling got!  He had a wonderful birthday celebrating with family.  We decided to not have a BIG birthday bash this year with his birthday falling the day after Thanksgiving.  It was nice to spread out the gifts though and he was able to enjoy a little bit at a time.  I hope his wishes come true because he blew out his candles all by himself!

Something happened last week that has turned Sterling into a complete chatter box.  He talks non-stop!  His teacher even told me he’s been talking a lot at school.  I can’t believe how much more “grown up” he seems in just a few weeks.  He’s eating a TON and all the time.  Sitting around the dinner table as a family has become a lot of fun because Sterling definitely keeps us entertained.  Tonight Sterling noticed his and his daddy’s reflections in the window.

 

Speaking of Daddy, we have a Daddy’s boy now.  Oh how things change!  I told Wade the other night, “I don’t like being the outcast!”  Sterling has been helping Daddy “build” anything and everything, likes to play Wii with him and of course watch “OU!”  I never realized how much OU “stuff” we have around our house until Sterling started pointing it out.

We’re preparing for Christmas and Sterling LOVES all the Christmas lights.  We’ve put up the BIG Christmas Tree and a smaller tree in his room.  Lucky for Sterling he’s been super good this year, so Santa is sure to be visiting him!!!!
