BOOMER SOONER 12.15.2008

Well....it’s good to be a Sooner!!!!  Wade headed up to Kansas City for the Big XII Championship with some of his friends and Sterling and I had my mom come visit us while he was gone.  Sterling actually stayed up and watched a lot of the game.  In fact, he was enjoying it so much I didn’t even realize how late it had gotten.  I had to be careful of what I said (or screamed) during the game because Sterling would repeat everything I said.  “Go, go, go,” was what we said the most and every time he heard Boomer Sooner playing he would stop what he was doing and start clapping!  We are so PROUD!!!!
Wade will be going on one last football excursion this season with his friends to Miami, to cheer on the Sooners in the National Championship game!

The icing on the cake (for those of you who don’t know) was Sam Bradford, OU’s quarterback, winning the Heisman trophy this past weekend.  We watched the Trophy presentation together at Rob & Carolina’s house.  We had a double baby shower for the Lee’s & Underwood’s, who are both expecting baby girls in January and February.  In fact, there are 5 Sooner babies on their way in 2009, and Hudson will be the only boy!!!!  Poor thing...

When you ask Sterling who is favorite football team is he always responds with, “OU!”  He can also do the Heisman pose now, although it’s a little difficult to catch on camera.  Here’s the best one we have so far...
