Whitney did a little reading and found that if the baby is seen sucking its thumb on an ultrasound that hand will usually be dominant.  In fact, their study showed it to be a correct indication 100% of the time for rightys and 66% for leftys.

After further investigation, it appears that Sterling is sucking his left thumb in the ultrasound picture.

Will Cody get his wish and Sterling be a dominant southpaw pitcher?   We shall see.  His Aunt Kara is a lefty.  Sure does stink at the dinner table.
