You may be wondering why it’s been soooooooo long since the last update. I definitely haven’t forgotten and will try not to forget anything in this blog. When we moved to Tyler we were temporarily living in an apartment until we found a house, we did not want to set everything up only to cancel it a few months later, so we’ve had no internet for the last few months. However, we are now in our new house and settling in to Tyler. Everything seems to be falling into place and our new neighborhood is beautiful.
This is what we now call “Sterling’s Lake.” I told him one day we were going to go to the Lake and he was beyond upset when we got there and Papa was no where to be found. We drive by it every day to get home and he always says, “Ne-ne’s water.”
Sterling is talking up a storm. Most everything Wade and I can understand and if we can’t Sterling is quick to show us what he’s talking about. As you saw above he calls himself Ne-ne, which Wade and I have also started calling him, so I guess it’s his new nickname! He started pre-school and is loving it and learning so much. He can sing his ABC’s and identify most of them, count to 10 and loves to read. We’re still working on his colors though, he gets those right about 50% of the time. His teachers all say he is such a good listener and is a big helper at school. Everyday when we get home from school Sterling has to watch Dora. He is obsessed!!! Although, it’s the perfect amount of time for preparing dinner. I will say, he actually interacts with the TV and they’ve had a few on lately geared towards boys, so we won’t be deleting those from the DVR!!! In the last few months Sterling has also developed physically. He’s getting a great golf swing and has a pretty good arm. He loves OU (as if he has any other choice) and recognizes the symbol on anything. His OU football that plays Boomer Sooner is one of his favorite toys and he sings right along with it. We are so proud of him and all his accomplishments, even at 1 1/2!
At my last ultrasound everything looked great. I will be 22 weeks along on Friday. I think Hudson’s going to be about the size of Sterling because I look just like I did with Sterling. In fact, everything about this pregnancy has been almost identical to Sterling’s. Although, I do already have reflux, which I don’t remember getting until later on previously. I really can’t complain though. Hudson has been a good boy to his momma, so far.
People keep saying they want to see pictures of the our new house. I will get some up once it’s a little more organized. We’re still trying to find things in boxes like lamp shades and shower curtains!
Thank you for being patient with me the last 3 months. Things have been CRAZY to say the least!
