Our “baby” is getting growing up so fast. There were so many changes when Sterling was this age that it’s hard for me to remember what all he was doing, and now with Hudson time seems to be flying by just as fast. He changes so much every day. Here’s what Huddy is up to now:
- Holding his own cup and bottle (Sterling was lazy and NEVER did this!)
- Starting to eat people food! In the last week he’s tried: bananas, tortilla, mashed potatoes, pizza crust, mac & cheese and noodles. I’m ready for the baby food phase to be over so I am very excited about this.
- Pulling up to standing on anything and everything. However, this also means bumping his head daily.
- Loving his Bubba. Although he has yet to actually “say” anything he gives out some big belly laughs at Sterling and thinks he’s the coolest. Finally, Sterling is beginning to think Hudson is pretty cool too. The other night he said the sweetest thing. We were getting ready for bed and he said, “Mommy, when Huddy gets bigger like me we can ride bikes together?” Just melted my heart. I can’t wait until they can ride all over the neighborhood on their bikes together.
- On the move! He’s one fast boy and can get a hold of anything and everything he wants.
- Done with “baby” toys. I am sad that the days of sitting Hud in his exersaucer or bouncy seat seem to be over. He wants to be on the floor right in the middle of everything. Looks the attic is going to fill up fast!
- is a BIG boy. Hudson is wearing 12 month clothes. I know for some babies this is normal, but Sterling was so little and was still wearing 12 month clothes at 2 yrs. I’m sure once he starts walking he’ll thin out some, but right now he’s a chunk!
