December Happenings!

Once again The Christmas Season came and went and just like that it was over!  We were gone most weekends, but loved spending lots of time with our families!

Lettuce, our Elf on a Shelf came back to visit this year!  His first day back was Sterling's 5th birthday!

Both boys had their Christmas programs on the same day!  Sterling was an orphan in Dickens of the Christmas (an is quite the up and coming Thespian) while Hudson sang stood while his class sang 5 little Snowmen and Jingle Bells.  He definitely made an improvement from last year's program where he cried!

We headed to Fort Smith where Wade's cousin got engaged!  We also celebrated Becca's 30th birthday!  Can't wait for the wedding in June!

The next weekend it was off to Fort Worth and Granbury where we celebrated 3 different Christmases and Santa visited!

Of course, they had to have a silly face picture!

Happy Birthday, Jesus cake!  He's the reason for the season!

 We all spend the night at my Grandparent's House and woke up to this Christmas morning!

I did not take one more picture after this!  Wade and I were both under the weather and we spent lots of time playing and opening new toys!

After we got all dressed I tried to get some pictures of the boys together!  Hudson was being pretty silly and I just kept snapping away!

Hudson kept giving Bubba kisses, which he thought was hilarious!

Birthday, birthday and MORE birthday!

Before Thanksgiving I took Sterling and 2 of his friends to the Science Museum for a little birthday fun!

 Since we were out of school the whole week it was a great place for them to go and run around ALL day!  They had a blast exploring, tumbling, running, jumping and playing!

On Thanksgiving Sterling got an early birthday present from Daddy!  His very own BB gun!

He was so excited and it was a perfect day for being outside!  But, first he had to make a target!

Birthday festivities continued on Friday night with cake and presents from Grandee, Papa and Aunt Kara

On Saturday we stopped in Fort Worth on the way back to OKC at Nanny & Pawpaw's for more birthday celebration, but I left my camera in the car!  Sterling is one special little boy and we could not be more grateful for all the love everyone has shown him during his birthday!

It's hard to believe you were once so small!!!  Your love for learning, makes this teacher mommy smile and I can't wait to watch you continue to grow over the next 5 years!!  We love you, Sterling Reece Kovash!

Winner, Winner, Turkey Dinner!

Sterling LOVES to color and I must say he's pretty great at it!  He won the coloring contest in class on Friday and won a Tootsie Roll Pop!  Needless to say, he was pretty proud of himself!

He will make sure you notice the time he took on his rainbow letters!  Keep up the good work, Ster!!!

Fall Fun!

Well, 1 month is long enough to not post, don't you think?  Believe it or not, I have tried, but it was taking forever for my pictures to upload and I was in a time crunch!  So, here's what The Kovash Family has been up to over the last month!!!  Be warned....picture overload!

Painting Pumpkins on the porch!  Sterling had to make a spider as a project for school, so naturally Hudson had to do his homework too!

Hudson attended his first OU football game and loved it!  We made through the 3rd quarter and wanted to stay longer, but it was WAY past their bedtime!

The boys played in old Halloween costumes a lot and Hudson got his first big boy haircut!  All the baby was instantly taken away and Momma shed a tear!

Sterling joined Lego club at school and they meet once a month!  He loves it!!  Check out his pencil!!! He has also learned to finger knit at after care and has been knitting scarves.  He's actually REALLY good at it.  He's working dog scarves for Christmas right now!

 Hudson had 50's day.  I think he's the coolest jock on the block!

Haunt the zoo with friends!  Glad we did it, but not sure it's something we'll ever do again!  LOTS of people and very crowded.  Plus, the boys wanted to take pictures at every photo op!  Guess the Momma's trained them well :)

 AND, last but not least Trick or Treating with my little dragon and giraffe.  We could not have asked for better weather and it was seriously like something out of a movie.  There were families every where and it was so much fun!  

 Fall definitely got off to a FUN start and we're looking forward to birthdays and the holidays just around the corner!

I have uploaded the blogger app, so hopefully I will blog more often now :). This school year I can hardly find time to download pictures, much less talk about what's going on with the Kovash family!
